Friday morning, August 27th “Loganites” were surprised to find a goat tied to their championship sign, apparently by Man High School, who wanted to get an early start on competition. Coaches and players were not bothered by the prank, but it seemed to have gotten our Logan Wildcats ready for a fight.
With 28 points before the second quarter, Logan was definitely seeing a new side to their football team. It was a night for celebration; the final score of 54-18 in favor of Logan. Coach Gary Mullins says, “He is proud of the boys for making the seniors last game against Man High School a memorable one. He said, “Starting off fast was a good strength, but he also wants to watch penalties in the coming week.”
