Here at Logan High School, our cooks strive to do the best they can in providing the most healthful and nutritional meals that they can for students. Lunches at our school offer a balanced meal of a main course, some type of fruit or veggies, a choice of milk, and often something a little extra. Of course, there’s always the choice of pizza or the ever nutritional salad boxes that contain all the perfect ingredients to make a salad that is not only delicious, but good for you as well.
Bag lunches tend to be the most predominantly popular choice at our school. Although many eat in the cafeteria daily, it’s easier and faster to make your way into the student center to grab a lunch that you can sit down and eat at any place you may choose. Bag lunches normally offer the same foods as the cafeteria, just packaged to take with you on the go.
Upon asking a few students of their opinions on our school’s lunches, I find that the majority of them are satisfied with the variety and quality of the food served here. Of course there’s always the ones who would rather bring their own lunch, but that’s just personal preference. From a personal stand point, I think that our school has a very successful lunch program and I’m sure that I speak not only for my self, but for the entire staff of the Here’s How Newspaper when I issue a word of thanks to all of the cooks that work daily to make that possible.
