Emergency Operation Plan

Filed under: Kenny Abbott — kennyabbott @ 9:05 pm

When I asked Dave Adkins on the Emergency Operation Plan he said and I quote “No plan is perfect. There is always something that could go wrong.” Yet Officer Adkins said that we made many different changes in the new plan. “The changes in the plan will help secure the staff and students of Logan Senior High.”

When I asked Mrs. Hanlon what she though about the new plan she had this to say, “Dave and I sat down researched  to see how we could make the new plan better.  We already have a new security system as well as additional cameras. The new plan helps with weather, fire, chemical spill, and lockdown situations.” Both teachers and students should be really proud of both Mrs. Hanlon and Dave Adkins and thank them for  taking the time to sit down and go over ways to help the students and staff be more safe. So students and teachers if you see officer Adkins or Mrs. Hanlon you should thank them for what they have done .

The Life of a Part-Time Worker

Filed under: Kenny Abbott — kennyabbott @ 4:52 pm

My name is Kenny Abbott and I work part time at McDonalds; these are the things I experience on the job. When working I have a variety of things I must accomplish throughout my shift. I make food, take orders, and do services. Work is a fun way to make money, but it isn’t always sunshine and rainbows. Some days I leave work as happy as aver and other days I hate it. It gives me a great since of pride to know that I worked for the money I spend on the things I want or need. As of right now I love the environment I work in; the people are great. Although I do not plan to work there after high school, it has been a truly tremendous experience to learn the effort it takes to earn “a hard day’s pay.”

If you have a part time job that you would like to tell the readers about please feel free to comment on this article with all your good or bad experiences!
