The LHS Here’s How has a word for the students and staff attending our school from Mr. Godby, the sponsor of the LHS Prayer Club.
Dear LHS Staff & Students,
Your assistance was overwhelming at the Thanksgiving holiday with an outpouring of cans of food; 80 families received a large box of goods, a ham, and a variety of hygiene items. We give a special thanks to those who collected canned food in their classes or gave money which helped to buy the hams. Families received a variety of vegetables, fruits, and meat products in the baskets. With Christmas less than a month away, it is the Prayer Club’s goal to beat the 80 family mark achieved at Thanksgiving by at least adding one more family. So we are asking you to encourage your students to be generous again with ‘good will toward men!’ Thanks for caring about those who are less fortunate at this time of the year that is supposed to be filled with good cheer.
