How does the loss to Perry County, Kentucky make you feel?   He replied by saying, “I feel like we played them tough in the 1st half, but our mistakes and their speed took over in the 2nd half.”

When asked what he thinks our chances of winning at C-Ville this friday he said, “ Yes because they are not better than us.”

He informed me of who he thought was the best offense of player.  “Dustin Botsch & Andrew Reynolds.”

He also said who was the best defensive player was. ”Jason Spurlock.”

The last thing Coach Mullins told me was if he thought we would have a winning season. ”I think we are good enough to have a winning season.”

Coach Mullins: Man Vs. Logan (34-7)

I was recently able to interview Coach Mullins about the recent loss to Man, and he made one comment that sticks out in my mind; “It was the worst loss of my coaching career.”

He also commented that his defensive tackles and inside linebackers drastically improved, but he feels that in order to win this Friday’s game he needs to buckle down on his players and practice them much harder. Coach Mullins feels that his best defensive players are Corey Brown, Corey Adams, Austin Farmer, Donovan Turner, and Michael Cotterall; his best offensive players are Dustin Botch and Joe Street. He hopes that has a big impact on Friday so they can win the game, but he feels that in order to win they need to be better everywhere!
